After a lot of talks, Samsung has finally announced the release of the 12.1-inch Mini-notebook that is powered by VIA Nano processor, named as the Samsung NC20.

Boasting its ability to offer superior performance and battery life in a sleek form factor, the latest computing device unites the power efficient 1.3+GHz VIA Nano ULV processor U2250 with the highly-integrated VIA VX800 system media processor.

Featuring a stunning 1280 x 800 12.1-inch display, the mini-notebook also sports a full-size 12″ notebook keyboard with optimized 18.5mm key spacing and a larger touchpad.

Weighing merely 1.52kg, the Samsung NC20 comes with an integrated VIA Chrome9 (DirectX 9.0 3D graphics, hardware video acceleration), 1GB DDR2 SODIMM (memory), 160GB SATA 2.5″ HDD, 0/100Mbps LAN, 802.11 b/g wireless and Bluetooth. It is believed that the laptop comes with an option of a solid state disk apart from a SATA hard disk drive.

At 292.4 x 217 x 30.7mm, the portable laptop even features a built-in 1.3 megapixel digital motion camera, a 3-in-1 memory card reader and three incorporated USB ports.

It works on six cells Li-ion battery that has the capability to deliver up to 6.5 hours of operation time.
