Dell Latitude E6000 and E5000 Series Notebook Specs Leaked

Dell logo Here’s a sneak peak at Dell’s upcoming ultra-portable E4000 and E5000 series notebook. The E5000 consists of Latitude E5500 and Latitude E5400, whereas the E6000 line-up includes Latitude E6500 and E6400.

According to Engadget, the 15.4-inch E6500 and 14.1-inch E6400 laptops are expected to replace Dell’s D830 and D630 and the “essential” 15.4-inch E5500 and 14.1-inch E5400 would carry on the low-end tradition of Dell’s D531 and D530.

The Latitude E6500 and E6400 notebooks will bundle:

  • An integrated GPS
  • LED backlit display option with 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution
  • A hard/hybrid/SSD storage drive options
  • 256MB nVIDIA graphics and DisplayPort out
  • eSATA connections
  • UWB, Bluetooth 2.1 and mobile broadband
  • A high capacity 84Whr “all-day” battery
  • All four Dell notebook PCs will be based on Intel’s Centrino 2 platform. The models are slated to launch in June.
