MSI Wind U120 netbook

A few pre-launch details and pictures of the MSI’s latest sub-notebook have made an appearance across the web through Fudzilla.

Named Wind 2 or U120, the upcoming netbook will apparently take the netbook’s design to the next level.

A successor of U100, the U120 will apparently run on Intel Atom CPU and will incorporate 802.11n wireless network, an integrated SIM card holder to support for 3.5G/HSDPA connectivity, and 120GB HDD or a 20 or 40GB SSD as options for business users. Probably, the netbook will work on either a three-cell or a six-cell battery to offer up to 4 hours of operation.

According to grapevine, the other specs and features remain the same as that of the predecessor.

In words of Fudzilla, the MSI Wind 2 aka U120 netbook will cost $600 (approx. Rs. 29,070) and will possibly hit the market later this year.
