Simmtronics has forayed into the Netbook segment in the Indian market with the launch of its first Netbook.
The Simmtronics netbook is powered by 1.6 GHz core speed Intel Atom mobile CPU N270 with 533 MHz AGTL+ front-side bus (FSB) and 2.5 watts thermal design power2 (TDP). It also ensures low power consumption through enhanced Intel SpeeStep Technology.
The 10.2-inch screen comes packed in the dynamic L2 cache sizing design that assures minimum electrical leakage in transistors-to-conserve energy. Moreover, the improved low-power sleep states (C1E, C2E, C4E) effectively condenses the performance state of the processor when it enters a package low-power state.
The netbook PC allows users to stream videos or music, access emails, browser internet and access instant messaging while on the run or at home or café.
Available in red, black and white colors, the Simmtronics Netbook carries a price tag of Rs 21,999. It will be available in India starting from 15th December.
