Asus M50 and M70 Notebooks To be showcased at CES 2008
Asus has announced to unveil the world’s first one-terabyte M50 and M70 notebooks. The two notebooks incorporate Hitachi’s two of the Travelstar 5K500 having capacity of 500GB each.
The new M-series notebooks feature sleek and stylish ASUS Infusion technology LCD cover and an ergonomic full-sized keyboard. Also they have ergonomic full-sized keyboard, a separate numerical keypad, and a dual-mode touchpad.
“Digital entertainment on-the-go is growing rapidly and notebooks are being used to run more powerful, memory-intensive applications,” said Tony Chen, general manager, notebooks business, ASUS.
“Our notebooks with the Hitachi Travelstar 5K500 provide the answer to users who demand systems that combine large storage capacities with desktop-class performance and features,” Chen added.
The M50 and M70 will be displayed at CES 2008. No images or details of the two notebooks are available as of now.
