Dell Introduces Notebook PCs with Flash Memory

Dell logo Dell, world’s second-largest maker of PC, has launched their first flash-memory based personal computers to store data. It offers 32GB of data storage space.

Dell also has announced eight new notebook PCs with different vibrant colors such as flamingo pink, sunshine yellow, alpine white, ruby red, jet black, midnight blue and espresso with advanced features.

The PC maker also plans to sell desktop machine under the Inspiron Brand, which was previously used only for its notebooks and phase out its dimension brand, which was used for its desktop computers for more than a decade.

The launch of new notebook computers would help the company to boost the sales of its consumer PCs in the market. Dell’s new laptop will be unveiled at an event at Macy’s flagship store in Herald Square in New York.

Further, the company is in the process of announcing more retail partnerships in the coming months. Dell this month started selling PCs in Wal-Mart Stores.

The price of the new notebook PCs will be $749 (approx. Rs. 30,676).
