On Saturday,Acer presented its new Ferrari series notebook called Ferrari 1100 series. The new notebook will run on AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor, and ATI Radeon X1250 with 960MB of HyperMemory.
Besides, the notebook incorporates a 12.1″ WXGA display with Acer’s signature CrystalBrite display technology. Its 250GB HDD can store your data safely.
Weighing even less than 2 kgs, the Ferrari 1100 series will have two built in speakers and an integrated optical drive
Talking about the design, the Ferrari 1100 is wrapped in carbon fiber, which protects the laptop.
The notebook comes with Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate / Windows Vista Business / Windows Vista Home Premium preinstalled. And other pre installed software such as Acer Empowering Technology (Acer eNet, ePower, ePresentation, eDataSecurity1, eLock, eRecovery, eSettings Management, eAudio); Acer Bio-Protection; Acer Crystal Eye; Acer GridVista; Acer Launch Manager; Acer Video Conference Manager; Adobe Reader; CyberLink PowerDVD; Norton Internet Security; NTI CD-Maker; Microsoft Office Professional 2007.
Unfortunately Acer has not revealed the Ferrari 1100 series’ availability, images and pricing information.
