Dell Precision M6300 Laptop Launched

Dell Precision M6300 notebook Dell has announced the availability of its new notebook PC, named Precision M6300.

The 17-inch laptop comes in both WXGA+ and WUXGA anti-glare along with an optional TrueLife display and is powered by Intel 2.8Ghz Core 2 Extreme mobile CPU. Based on Intel’s latest mobile platform ‘Santa Rosa’, it also includes a graphics processor, namely the Quadro FX 1600M GPU with 256MB of RAM that delivers enhanced 3D modeling.

Precision M6300 also features 1.8Ghz Core 2 Duo, 80GB of HDD, 1GB of RAM and Windows Vista support. It also offers 200GB of storage that runs at 7200RPM.

Dell said that the laptop only supports up to 4GB of memory that is available in 64-bit version of Windows.

Dell will start the shipment of the Precision M6300 within two weeks at the suggested price of $2070 (approx. Rs. 84,200). For an upgraded version, which enhances the base model with a 2.2GHz processor and a docking station for regular desktop use, the price is slated to be $2,567 (approx. Rs. 1,02,825).
