Nikon announces the launch of its COOLPIX S230 digital camera.
Highlighting intuitive touchscreen operation and enhanced functions, the elegant shooter offers an engaging photographic technique with fingertip shooting control and exciting playback options.
The Nikon S230 features include 3-inch touch control LCD, 10 mega pixel resolution, three step automatic zoom, precision optic 3x Nikkor lens, extended light sensitivity setting of around ISO 2000 and Nikkon’s new Expeed digital image concept for superior image quality and performance.
The camera sports various functions like 16 scene modes, the Portrait One-Touch Zoom function in Portrait or Night scene modes, Food Mode, D-Lighting, Auto Sort and Favorite Pictures functions, four movie modes with sound and Time zone function for easy setting of multiple locations.
Equipped with Paint and Handwritten Memo, the COOLPIX S230 allows users to add memos, drawings, colorful borders or stamps directly to images, as well as store memos or drawings entered on the touch screen as JPEG files.
It also comes with a unique feature that makes it easy to lock auto focus and exposure on a subject. Supporting high-speed connectivity, the camera comes equipped with a 44 MB memory and an EN-EL10 battery that offer nearly 160 shots.
Available in Warm Silver, Gloss Red, Night Blue, Purple and Black colors, the Nikon COOLPIX S230 camera is priced at $229.95 (approx. Rs. 11,185).
