Weave Mirror and Peg Mirror Fabrication presented by Daniel Rozin
Daniel Rozin has designed its latest mirrors, dubbed the Weave Mirror and Peg mirror. At New York’s digital art galley, he showcased its devices and called it a Fabrication show.

Weave Mirror (above image) features a 766 curbed and laminated in C-Shaped prints that are hooked up to motors along with surface of a picture plane that texturally mimics a homespun basket. When someone comes in front of the mirror, the prints create portraits. The mirror paints a picture of the viewer with the help of a gradual rotation in greyscale value on each C-ring.

The Peg Mirror (above image) assembles 650 circular wooden pieces that are cut on an angle. This wooden peg forms concentric circles surrounding a small central camera. Developed by Daniel Rozin’s software, it processes video signals and breaks up imagery geometrically, apparently pixel by pixel. The piece, which shines unsteadily like jewels or coins in the spotlight, makes us think about what comprises a ‘digital object’.
Great products by Daniel Rozin! But it seems to be a fantasy product that gives an imaginary look to us.
