The Sony XBR-84X900-4K price and release date details are out and it is currently up for pre-order on the company’s online store. This big size 4K TV will be available from November onwards.
This TV stands approximately 44 inches tall with a thickness of about 3 inches. Weighing roughly 176.3 pounds, it wears an 84-inch display that teams up with an in-built three-chip 4K X-Reality Pro picture engine to proffer 4K resolutions. This means that the device should be capable of rendering visuals with 4 times more detailing than regular HD monitors. Adding to it, users will also be able to view content in 3D at full HD.
In terms of audio, the Sony TV is said to deliver cinematic sound through a 10-unit speaker system that includes a subwoofer. Users can take advantage of built-in Wi-Fi to stream HD content, and the Intelligent Connect feature to hook up external devices like PCs and tablets. The display can be used for viewing, editing and sharing files in 4K resolution through the PlayMemories Studio application that comes with the PS3 system.
The device comes with the SimulView technology that enables two players to play simultaneously without a split screen. Apart from this, the company has even thrown in a host of content and applications including Skype. The Media Remote tool lets users control the TV directly through their smartphones.
