Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 5 Encore digital music system coming this August
With access to music libraries and more than 13,000 internet radio stations, the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 5 Encore digital music system is set to arrive next month. New addition to the Encore 5 audio range, this interactive music system equipped with a playlist technology touts to provide an unmatched acoustic experience.
The user-friendly plug and play device facilitates navigation with easy access to the music library. The audio system can be used as the single source or along with multiple sources. The company by itself updates and monitors the quality of internet radio stations, which can be accessed through the player. Additionally, the device is compatible with most devices including hard discs, PCs, USB drives, Bang & Olufsen speakers and more.
A single server supports up to eight Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 5 Encore digital music systems with an option to play different music in different rooms, simultaneously. It is fitted with a 10.4-inch display along with a wheel to scroll through the music. The system can be mounted on walls or placed anywhere and is embedded with hidden sockets. Moreover, the device boasts of an elegant design with graphical expressions.

The digital music system integrates the More of the Same (MOTS) algorithm which lines up tracks of similar music on the basis of rhythm, dynamics, sound of a particular track. The playlist is created from devices connected to the system through USB or LAN without manually navigating through songs.
The Bang & Olufsen BeoSound 5 Encore digital music system carries a price tag of $3350 (approx. Rs. 1,48,003) and will be available at company’s showrooms in August this year.
