Sony DAV DZ home theatre systems unleashed in India
Striving to provide a multitude of entertainment options at home, Sony has unveiled its new line-up of home theatre systems for the Indian market. The new DAV DZ range of home theatre systems equips features such as Play, Audio Return Channel and DVD Up scale function.
The functionalities included in the home theatre system offer high quality sound enable users to enjoy Full HD equivalent 1080p resolution Video even from a Standard Definition Input. Users can enjoy their favorite songs as well as videos through the USB Play/Ripping option. With this option, one can play and also record to a USB device.
Sony has also introduced the Audio Return Channel feature that eliminates the requirement for additional audio connections and it can also receive audio signals through single HDMI connection from TV to DAV system.
The new DAV-DZ series is capable of receiving audio signals through single HDMI connection between the user’s Audio Return Channel-enabled TV and Home Theatre System. The DVD Up scale feature converts Standard Definition Signal (480) to 1080p full High Definition Video signal, enabling users to enjoy full HD equivalent Video even from non HD content.
The Sony DAV DZ range is priced between Rs. 16, 990 and Rs. 29,990 and will be available across all Sony Center stores and other major electronic outlets from February 25, 2010. The DAV DZ810, DAV DZ610, DAV DZ510 and DAV DZ310 carry a price tag of Rs. 29,990, Rs. 24,990, Rs. 19,990 and Rs. 16,990, respectively.
