Sony HT-CT500 Sound Bar Theater System Announced
Sony launches a new two-piece home theater system, dubbed the HT-CT500. Bundled with a sound bar and subwoofer, the powerful audio unit gets connected with just a single wire.

It features the 3.1 channel, 400 watts (RMS) of total power, 3 full HD 1080p HDMI inputs, 2 component inputs and various other audio inputs. It comes with a fully functional A/V receiver that gets hooked into the subwoofer.
Furthermore, the sound bar home theater system offers full 1080/60p and 24p video capability along with support for both Deep Color and x.v.Color. The inclusion of S-AIR technology enables the model to provide multi-room listening experience by transmitting wireless audio up to 164 feet.
Besides, it also bundles Digital Media Port (DMP) connections to effectively connect external audio sources to the system.
Some of the other attributes of the Sony HT-CT500 include an icon-based menu and Faroudjas’ DCDi Cinema chip to up-scale all video to near high-definition quality and up-convert analog audio/video signals to HDMI.
Adorned in a slim speaker design, the HT-CT500 complements the newly launched Sony Bravia W5100 and XBR9 television series.
The Sony HT-CT500 Sound Bar theater system can be purchased in June for an estimated price of $500 (approx. Rs. 25,840).
