Cambridge SoundWorks’ Newton Series II Speaker Systems Announced
Cambridge SoundWorks has launched new high-performance speakers, dubbed the Newton Series II Speaker system, a new member in the Newton Series HD flat panel speaker line. These speakers have been developed for home theater systems and flat panel TVs.
The latest Newton series II comprises of thirteen models incorporating high-quality sound and high-end style into one system. These systems also include aluminum dome tweeters that are capable of delivering similar timbre, superior resolution and accuracy.
The Newton Series II line also incorporates improved low and mid-frequency drivers, new front-mounted ports and center channel speakers to build into a custom cabinet design. Furthermore, these speakers also include satellites, surround speakers, center channels and powered subwoofers along with a new floor-standing speaker with a combination of great looks, superb sound, and a profound deep bass capability.
Housed in solid wood cabinets, Newton series II speakers are fabricated with a choice of a midnight black satin paint finish or genuine cherry wood veneer with solid hardwood edge bolsters and a durable polypropylene top coat. The compact satellite and surround speakers are enclosed in heavily braced composite enclosures with sensuous curves that eliminates standing waves and virtually avoids coloration from cabinet vibrations.
Priced at $349.99 (approx. Rs. 14,000), the Newton Series HD line of flat panel speakers includes satellite speakers for only $399.99 (approx.
