Kobo Glo, Mini price in the UK and Canada announced

After hitting availability status in the US, the Kobo Glo and Mini have arrived in two new countries with their price in the UK and Canada popping up. Not just that, starting November the company will also launch the 7-inch Arc that runs on the Android platform.

First up is the Glo device from the Kobo family that comes with the ComfortLight technology for enabling users to read even in the dark. The key highlights of this eReader include a 6-inch XGA E-Ink display and the Kobo eBookstore for downloading a variety of books over Wi-Fi connectivity. Potential buyers can purchase the device in Canada through a host of retailers like Indigo Music & Books, Best Buy and Future Shop, while it will hit the UK via WHSmith.

Next we have the Mini that’s said to be the world’s smallest full-featured eReader. As per the company’s claims, it is portable enough to fit in a purse or even be tucked in a pocket while traveling. Apart from being feature-packed, the Kobo device has a hoarding capacity that can accommodate nearly 1,000 eBooks. It is equipped with a 5-inch E-Ink screen that comes with an anti-glare coating. Buyers can opt for SnapBacks that are available in shades of teal, ruby red and purple.

The price in Canada for the Kobo Glo and Mini reads at CAD$129.99 (approx. Rs. 6,900) and CAD$79.99 (approx. Rs. 4,240), respectively. They are available for purchase in the UK at £99.99 (approx. Rs. 8,345) and £59.99 (approx. Rs. 5,000), in the same order.
