Samsung Galaxy Note Europe

The latest is that the Samsung Galaxy Note is now hitting Europe for those who can’t seem to decide between a tablet, a smartphone or a plain old notepad. This smartphone-tablet combo is expected reach Germany first, before making its meandering way to other places in the said region this November.

Spreading out a large 5.3-inch HD Super AMOLED touchscreen across its front face, the Samsung device which straddles two popular device categories, is equipped with a stylus dubbed the S Pen. It works with the Galaxy Note’s touchscreen to offer an interesting user experience for note taking, sketching and more. The device is integrated with handwriting recognition technology so handwritten text is easily converted into digital format for user convenience dealing with sharing options.

“Galaxy Note is a revolutionary product to open a new category in the mobile industry and I am very proud of this accomplishment,” trilled JK Shin, President and Head of Samsung’s Mobile Communications Business. “Samsung Galaxy Note will redefine and enhance mobile communication by offering a more advanced, productive and creative user experience with its new innovative features such as S Memo, S Planner and S Choice. I hope European customers will enjoy our new product and fully take advantage of Galaxy Note’s many innovative features.”

This gadget is powered by a 1.4GHz processor of the dual core variety in order to multi-tasking a leg up. In terms of connectivity, it is built to work with HSPA+ or LTE networks for attempting to provide users with a smooth browsing experience. But it’s not all work and no play on the Samsung Galaxy Note which also supports online gaming platforms courtesy of the company’s Game Hub.

Though the device in question will be out through operators such as Deutsche Telekom, Orange, Telefonica and Vodafone in Europe, there’s no word on the Samsung Galaxy Note price as yet.
