Western Digital unveils TV Mini Media Player
Innovation never seems to cease at Western Digital. Enhancing its TV media player, the company has now launched its latest TV Mini Media Player. With this device, users can play their digital content in up to 1080i HD resolution directly on their HD television and also enjoy RealVideo files.
Users can easily connect the media player to their TV or home theater and enjoy digital movies, music and photos, stored on USB or portable drives. The Western digital device is also compatible with digital camcorders and digital cameras. The sleek and compact design of the media player makes the device portable.

The TV mini media player is designed specially for people who own huge digital libraries on their computers. The device employs Picture Transfer Protocol enabling users to view or backup content from their digital image device. It offers DVD-like navigation, providing chapter support, trick modes and subtitles. Numerous file formats are supported by the media player including RealMedia Variable Bitrate. Further, users can also preview their video during navigation (480 and 720 mode only).
The WD TV Mini Media Player is offered at select retailers for $99.99 MSRP (approx. Rs. 4,894) and comes with one year limited warranty.
