Viliv X70 Atom Communication Mobile Internet Device Unveiled
Viliv has raised the curtains on its latest mobile internet device, dubbed the X70 Atom Communication.
Powered by 1.33 GHz Intel Atom Silverthorne chipset, the UMPC works on WiMax and features HSDPA connectivity for web browsing. It sports a 7-inch superfine WSVGA Touch LCD screen (1024×600 pixels) with touch interface that supports virtual keyboard. It is compatible with operating systems such as Windows XP and Linux.
Besides, the device also offers IEEE 802.11b/g WLAN and Bluetooth 2.0+ EDR, SiRF Star3 GPS, stereo speakers and an integrated microphone.
For storage, the X70 Atom Communication comes with 1 GB of memory and choice from 8 GB or 16 GB of SSD or 32 GB or 60 GB of HDD.
Weighing 660g and measuring 210 x 117 x 22.5 mm (W x H x T), the X70 Atom Communication even incorporates connectors for audio, USB, multi I/O for cradle and USB (link). It boasts to offer 6 hours of continuous movie playback.
The Viliv X70 Atom Communication MID was showcased at CES 2009.
