Vulcan FlipStart UMPC Now Available for Just $700

It seems there is a great competition in the ultra-mobile PC market. The price of one of the prominent micro PC, based on Windows PC has slashed down.

Vulcan FlipStart UMPC A year ago, when FlipStart Labs launched Vulcan FlipStart, it was priced at around $2000 (approx. Rs. 80,000). Now, the company has officially announced that they have reduced the price of the Vulcan FlipStart UMPC by more than half the actual cost.

This really tiny Windows UMPC now retails for $699 (approx. Rs. 28,000). Not a bad bargain at all. It sports integrated WiFi and Bluetooth and Sprint EV-DO Rev. Besides, it also comes with a wireless modem and USB 2.0 port.

The Vulcan FlipStart UMPC features:

  • A 1.1GHz processor
  • 512 MB of RAM
  • A 30 GB hard drive
  • Runs on either Vista or XP
  • Small little keyboard
  • A 5.6-inch display with 1024×600 pixels

    • Weighing around 1.75 lbs, this ultra-mobile PC comes in a standard high capacity battery and can fit in your palm easily.
