Apparently, Sony has planned to launch its new eBook reader, called the PRS-505.
Rumors speaks out aloud that the upcoming reader is the upgraded version of the previous eBook reader. It will feature a refurbished layout, twice the internal memory plus the display may get a makeover.
The initial eBook reader featured a 6-inch E Ink display, enough battery life for 7,500 page turns, support for DRM’d BBeB and unprotected PDF, TXT, RTF, and Word files as well as RSS feeds.
Sony will roll out the eBook in two different colors namely silver and blue. It is said that the Sony PRS-505 will be launched on the Chicago Abt Electronics website.
Sadly, not much has been revealed about the Sony PRS-505 eBook reader. Its price too has still not been confirmed. However, it is expected to retail for $299 (approx. Rs. 12,000).
