MapmyIndia unfurls TrailBlazer navigation system for superbikes

Bikers get a new, useful accessory for their roaring machines as MapmyIndia outs the new GPS navigation system dubbed TrailBlazer, specifically for superbikes. The device bundles up maps of 620 cities and claims to offers an accurate guide for biking trips. It can navigate an entire group of bikes on a biking trip anywhere in India.

Furthermore, the device is water resistant, offering turn-by-turn voice directions. The FM transmitter broadcasts turn-by-turn voice directions to FM radios within a specific range. TrailBlazer is loaded with popular travel destinations and highway routes while it also serves as an entertainment device allowing audio-video playback.

Apart from the TrailBlazer, MapmyIndia also unfurls an array of navigation devices for the year 2010. The MapmyIndia ZX150 also called as Navitainment (Navigation and Entertainment), is a GPS navigation system for super-motorbikes.

The ZX150 Deluxe is a fusion of GPS navigator and a high-end, portable audio-video player. The 5-inch touchscreen display, maps of 620 Indian cities, FM transmitter, Bluetooth hands-free, music/video playback, e-book reader, photo browser and reverse camera are some of the salient features of this gadget. It also lets users watch their favorite movies and has the ability to convert a car music system to a car theatre system using the aux-in facility or FM.

The device can be paired with a phone and one can also route the received calls to the car speakers. The echo-cancellation module further adds to the convenience. The company has unveiled a standalone device for cars dubbed Black Box. Hidden under the dashboard and loaded with 620 city maps, it connects to the in-dash car audio-video system to provide precise, turn-by-turn navigation. The Black Box is made available as an OEM accessory with Mitsubishi Cedia Sports edition and Ford Endeavour.
