MapMyIndia unfurls Road Pilot Navigator

MapMyIndia Road Pilot Here’s a new navigation device from MapMyIndia dubbed Road Pilot. A 3.5-inch touchscreen helps guide users through several destinations. It bundles up maps of about 620 Indian cities alongside enabling users search for more than 52 categories of points of interest and over 2 million unique destinations.

This GPS enabled device offers turn by turn voice navigation to route users to their destination. It promises to deliver a new map experience enabling the map 2D or 3D and the ability to drag it into any direction. Its new search capability simplifies keying in new destinations.

The high performance navigation enables users to effortlessly reach their destination and even on taking a wrong turn, the device quickly recalculates the route. The numerous points of Interest include petrol pumps, ATMs, restaurants, landmarks and more. The MapmyIndia Navigator lets one import geo-tagged photographs and view them on the map, navigate to them, or search for the nearest GeoPix.

Users can save their favorite locations, routes as well as GPS logs which can be accessed whenever required. The Road Pilot can be purchased for a price of Rs. 7,900.
