FedEx’s SenseAware to track packages

FedEx SenseAware

Recently we had reported of a unique gadget that replaces sticky notes. And now, putting aside the traditional tracking number of packages is FedEx’s new device, reports OhGizmo.

So, next time you are shipping a package to a dear one, fret not, just drop in the innovative SenseAware that keeps users updated about their shipped object.

Users can monitor their packages and keep a tab on it all through its journey. However, this device is said to be targeted at medical industry. Once dropped in the package, the device’s built-in accelerometor, light sensor, cellular transmitter and GPS receiver will let users know how their package has been treated. The device alerts them whether it was opened and the location where it was opened.

Users can then log onto the corresponding website and view the information. Reportedly, it now carries a heavy price tag of $120. Well, it would be worth it only if users are shipping some irreplaceable objects.
