Nextar unveils new Q4-01 and Q4-02 portable GPS navigation devices from its Q-series range. Sporting a 4.3-inch touchscreen, the navigation systems offer voice-guided directions through their NAVTEQ maps.
Both navigation devices play MP3 audio files, display digital JPEG photos that are stored on the 4GB SD card and are powered by built-in lithium-ion battery. They include an address book which stores 300 entries and allows you choose between 2D and 3D viewing modes. The Night mode makes it easier to view directions at night.
The Q4-01 provides maps of 50 US states, 1.6 million points of interest while the Q4-02 includes additional Canada and Puerto Rico maps as well and about 6 million POI.
Nextar also includes an AC and car power adapter, a USB cable, SD card, protective pouch, mounting cradle, dashboard mount disk, mounting bracket and a stylus. The Nextar Q4-01 is now available for $299 (approx Rs. 14,908). The Q4-02 navigation system is priced at $399 (approx Rs. 19,895).
