Sanyo EasyStreet NVM-4070 and NVM-4050 GPS Systems Released in U.S

Sanyo EasyStreet NVM-4070 Sanyo has added a pair of GPS unit to the EasyStreet series, known as the NVM-4070 and the NVM-4050.

Common features of both the GPS navigation systems include a 4-inch 16:9 wide touch-screen, Bluetooth enabling hands-free calling, to transfer data and text messages. They also bundle features like text-to-speech, turn-by-turn navigation for audible directions.

Moreover, the Sanyo GPS devices also provide 1.8 million POIs covering airports, hotels, restaurants and entertainment. Sanyo EasyStreet GPS gives detailed information like description of service, phone number and price. Pre-loaded maps of the US such as Alaska and Hawaii, plus Canada and Puerto Rico also included in both the Sanyo EasyStreet GPS systems.

The Sanyo EasyStreet series navigation device has the capability to play MP3s and WMA audio files. These files can also be stored on the internal memory or in a SD memory card.

All of the above features are present in both the Sanyo EasyStreet NVM-4070 and NVM-4050 GPS Systems. However, the NVM-4070 has few advanced features such as Traffic Message Channel, which allows the drive to receive data and provides real-time info on crashes, construction and traffic.

Furthermore, it also comes equipped with a built-in FM transmitter and an auto re-route function.

Sanyo offers a car mounting kit, USB cable, instruction manual CD, quick start guide and DC power adapter with the GPS systems.

The Sanyo Easy Street NVM-4070 (available in black) and NVM-4050 (in dark charcoal gray) are available in the U.S. for $499.99 (approx. Rs. 20,000) and $399.99 (approx. Rs.16,000) respectively.
