Dash Express GPS Navigation Unit Redesigned, Launch Delayed to Early 2008

Dash Express GPS unit Dash has updated the features of its GPS Navigator, called the Dash Express. However, the release date of this device has now been delayed.

The added changes include WiFi, cellular and GPS packing navigator with two-way traffic updates and travel-time forecasting. The larger 4.3-inch display GPS system also carries lot of other changed features such as louder speaker, bigger internal battery and power connector on the dash mount instead of the navigator.

Furthermore, Dash has introduced two touch sensitive buttons on the top and has eliminated the button clutter array up on the front. Out of the two buttons, one is a volume button that appears on the touch screen when pressed, whereas the other shows up the menu.

The Dash Express GPS Navigator will be available in the first quarter of 2008 instead of fall this year.
