Pontus EN-4500 GPS cum Portable Media Player Introduced
Pontus a Korean company has launched a new portable navigation system (PNS) called the EN-4500. The new device is said to be the combination of media player and GPS unit.
The EN-4500 measures 78×133×33mm and weighs 254g. Moreover the device is just 1.3 inches thick thus it can be carried in cars as well. It is a perfect device to be carried handheld. Besides, the device incorporates 4.3-inch touchscreen display having 480×272 pixels, on which users can view both 2D and fully-textured 3D versions of maps.
Coming to the entertainment part, the device is capable of playing WMV movies and 1Seg digital TV. Also audio formats such as MP3, OGG and WMA are supported by EN-4500. The mechanism has microSD card slot, which is useful to store user’s favorite files.
The Pontus EN-4500 is powered by the Li-Ion 820mAh rechargeable battery, which is capable of running the device for up to 4 hours. The device measures 78×133×33mm and weighs 254g.
The Pontus EN-4500 GPS cum Media Player will hit the Japanese market by end of July and interested buyers can purchase it at the price of 60,000 Yen (around Rs. 19,600)
