ViaMichelin X-970 GPS users can Download POIs

ViaMichelin X-970 GPS unit ViaMichelin, a leading international travel planning and mapping website, has announced that the ViaMichelin Navigation X-970 GPS users can now download more than 1,000 North American addresses of Michelin-recommended restaurants and hotels on their device. The website now includes points of interest and location from the two Michelin Guides.

The ViaMichelin Navigation X-970 GPS system has access to the website that allows the unit to continually update reviews of the Michelin Guide inspectors in North America. With the rich content and diverse selection, the consumer finds it easy to locate the best dinning and lodging.

The Michelin Guide, which has become an international benchmark in gourmet dining, will be added to the ViaMichelin website in the spring of next year.

Currently, the ViaMichelin Navigation X-970 is available from Amazon.com, CircuitCity.com, JR.com and at J&R Music World in New York as well as through independent automotive retailers in U.S. for a suggested price of $399 (approx. Rs. 16000).
