The gaming arena has willingly embraced highly efficient graphics cards to optimize hardcore gaming sessions. Accelerating gaming performance levels, Nvidia GeForce 500M Series of notebook GPUs has now been introduced.

The GeForce GTX 560M graphics processor promises to leverage the gameplay with superior features. The company states that for the first time leading OEMs will be offering GeForce GTX gaming GPUs with Nvidia Optimus technology. This technology offers extended battery life by intuitively switching on and off the GPU as per the user’s requirements. It is designed into more than 80 percent of GeForce 500M Series notebooks and is touted to be adopted by every leading notebook OEM.

“The GeForce GTX 560M and Nvidia Optimus mean gamers get 50 frames per second in Duke Nukem Forever and five hours of battery life in Microsoft Office,” commented Rene Haas, general manager of notebook products at Nvidia. “That’s real power and real portability.”

The new GeForce GPUs render advanced performance-per-watt as compared to the previous generation. The graphics processors come with support for Nvidia 3D Vision technology, Nvidia PhysX technology and Nvidia Cuda architecture. In addition, the utility level is leveraged with support for Nvidia SLI technology and Nvidia Verde notebook drivers. The company has revived its entry-level GeForce GT 500M GPUs with the inclusion of the new GeForce GT 520MX GPU.

Alienware, Asus, MSI, Toshiba and more will be releasing notebooks featuring GeForce GTX 560M and Optimus technology. Besides, Asus, Samsung and others will be launching notebooks with GeForce GT 520MX.
