The latest gaming peripheral to be rolled out by Roccat is the Isku illuminated keyboard which boasts of the company’s exclusive Talk technology. The ‘cutting-edge’ Roccat Isku illuminated gaming keyboard has been released in Germany and will make its way into the rest of Europe by the end of this month.
The Roccat Isku comes with an option to adjust the brightness levels to facilitate gaming in the dark. The peripheral is embedded with 123 keys offering optimal keystroke response and pressure points. It is the first keyboard to feature the Easy Shift[+] technology which provides 28 customizable macros positioned at three easily accessible zones along with five M-keys and three Thumbster keys.
The Roccat talk technology utilized in the keyboard helps the peripheral to communicate with the mouse. Further, this technology also allows using a single Easy Shift[+] key to execute functions of both the mouse and the keyboard. What’s more, the Macro Live! recording button can be used to assign in-game macro settings in up to five profiles which can be edited with the pre-loaded Macro Manager software.
The keyboard’s extra large granular wrist rest adds to the comfort factor for extended gaming while its integrated cable channel eliminates the muddle of wires from the desktop. Additionally, the keyboard features eight media and hotkeys for quick access to about 25 functions. Various gaming profiles can be saved for different games and apps which are indicated through different LED lights.
The Roccat Isku illuminated gaming keyboard is priced at €79.99 (approx. Rs. 5,215).
