RetroN 3 console by Hyperkin is blazing red
Here’s news that may excite a lot of gaming fanatics, especially those with a passion for retro gaming. Hyperkin has revealed plans to launch the RetroN 3 that consolidates Nintendo, Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis onto a single wireless console.
The device comes with six original controller ports or two for each platform, two wireless controllers and S-video or composite AV inputs. The three cartridge ports for NES, SNES and Sega Genesis are built into the console with the cartridge slots being of the top loading variety.
Steven Mar, MD, Hyperkin, stated, “We designed the RetroN 3 with one thing in mind & having fun. It’s an amazing system that offers a blast from the past as well as a fun, exciting way to enjoy three of the best game systems ever developed. The RetroN 3 offers something for everybody who loves video games.”
Hyperkin plans to make the. RetroN 3 available for testing at the E3 trade show from June 15 to 17, 2010. The device is available at $69.99 (approx. Rs.3,282).
