Standalone 320GB Sony PS3 starts shipping
Lately, the festivities seem to have struck the gaming world with hoards of offers and promotions. Gamers can now lay their hands on a 320GB PS3 gaming consoles without the need of purchasing the additional elements tagged with it, reveals the official PlayStation blog.
For those who already own a PS Move motion controller, this standalone unit comes as a great choice. In August, the controller, a PlayStation Eye and a copy of Sports Champions were offered with the 320GB version of PS3. These have now been given a drop by Sony for its highest capacity gaming console.
Some attractive downloadable PS Move games, including Tumble and PSN specials such as Beat Sketcher, Dead Nation, PAIN and echochrome ii are slated to be made available soon. Furthermore, multimedia buffs can enjoy their favorite movies and TV shows in HD by downloading them on the system from the PSN. Besides, this console touts to be the only gaming system in the market that incorporates a Blu-ray player.
The 160GB PS3 system costs $299.99 (approx Rs. 13,330) and a 320GB PS3 system, inclusive of a PlayStation Eye, a copy of Sports Champions and a PlayStation Move motion controller retails at $399 (approx. Rs. 17,730). On the other hand, the standalone 320GB PS3 system will make players shell out $50 (approx Rs. 2,221) lesser or $349.99 (approx. Rs. 15,550). This system has already begun shipping to various retailers.
