Nyko Technologies outs Charge Base IC for the Nintendo Wii

Charge Base IC Nintendo Wii Gamers can now enjoy Nintendo Wii games relentlessly by means of the Charge Base IC designed by Nyko Technologies. The gaming accessory acts as a controller charging dock for the Wii.

This Wii accessory derives inspiration from the popular Wii Charge Station and employs induction technology to charge the controllers, unlike the conventional metal contact points. The Charge Base IC is designed in such a fashion that users need not remove any silicone jackets or attachments such as Wii Motion Plus while charging their Wii Remotes or Wands.

“Since the Wii launched our charging docks for Wii controllers have been our most popular items among consumers. With the Charge Base IC’s induction technology and magnetic cradle we have improved upon our original model in order to offer the most convenient and stylish charging solution for the Wii,” quoted Chris Arbogast, director of marketing at Nyko Technologies.

This Nyko Technologies’ device is inclusive of a powered USB port which can be used for charging other gadgets.

The Charge Base IC is inclusive of two magnetic battery covers compatible with the Wii Remote and Nyko Wand, and also two rechargeable battery packs. Presently, the Charge Base IC is retailed via Amazon.com and Costco and is expected to hit other stores in a short while.
