Digital Chocolate Tornado Mania game comes to iPhone and iPod Touch

Tornado Mania Digital Chocolate has introduced Tornado Mania in its improved version. This game is redesigned mainly for Apple’s iPhone and iPod Touch and comes embedded with accelerometer technology for controlling the game.

The accelerometer senses the movement of the device and accordingly controls the game. Tilting the device moves the tornado in the clockwise and anti-clockwise direction. Thus, it lets players use the device like a steering wheel. The players can optionally use the Multi-Touch screen controls. This variation in control schemes is said to take the gamming experience to a higher level of fun. The game also provides an option to listen to iTunes music while playing the game and still be able to hear the sound effects of the game.

“Tornado Mania! is one our most successful games and the revolutionary innovation in iPhone and iPod touch will make this version the best yet,” said Trip Hawkins, CEO of Digital Chocolate. Tornado Mania provides value for money to its users by providing two modes in one package namely Utopia and Rampage. In Utopia mode, the user plays a mad scientist who is disturbed by the rampant pollution and lets out his tornado machine on the world. Players have to collect the houses, buildings, cows and power plants and relocate them in the Antarctic Biosphere to create a Utopian or ideal Society.

The Rampant mode needs the gamer to play the destroyer and let hell loose on the planet. The game also provides a free trial version of the game with limited number of levels and modes.

The game is available at Apple’s App Store and iTunes App Store on iPhone and iPod Touch at $4.99 (approx Rs. 249).
