CTA Digital designs Bowling ball for Wii

Wii Bowling PeripheralCTA Digital has introduced a bowling ball for Wii adding to the list of its accessories. This Wiimote peripheral allows gamers to imitate the actions involved in hitting a perfect strike.

This accessory is claimed to be the first peripheral that is designed as a bowling ball. It can be activated just by pressing the release button which opens the ball in half. Gamers then need to place the Wii remote inside and close the ball. After the remote is put inside, gamers have to plug the three holes with their fingers in the same way as they do with a regular bowling ball.

Finally, gamers must check whether they have worn the wrist strap securely around their wrist. It would prevent the ball from flying out of their hand, unintentionally. It apparently makes sure that the gamers bowl like experts.

A bowling ball Wii Remote attachment comes along with this accessory. The remote is compatible with some of the Wii games like Wii sports Brunswick Pro Bowling, Ten Pin Alley 2, AMF Bowling: World Lanes and AMF Bowling: Pinbusters!

The pricing and the availability of this accessory is not yet revealed.
