Maingear goes green with Pulse gaming PC
Maingear has announced a brand new gaming PC dubbed Pulse, reports Slashgear. This gaming device claims to serve its purpose faithfully along with being environment friendly. It claims to be the greenest PC for gamers.
This Maingear PC comes equipped with Nvidia ION and provides an option to upgrade to GeForce.
The Nvidia ION based Pulse features Intel Core2, a 45nm processor that has 300W power supply and 80 percent efficiency. Users can opt for the GeForce 9800 GT ECO that comes with a 65W Core2 quad processor. This processor is 40 percent more efficient than regular GeForce 9800 GT processors. The GeForce is available in both 512MB and 1GB configurations.
The chassis of the Pulse measures about 11-inches in height and 8×8 in footprint. Pulse claims to have better power efficiency than most of the computers in the market today. It is capable of supporting up to 8GB RAM and comes with a 7.1 audio output.
The Pulse also features 802.11b/g wireless connectivity and eSata support for maximum expandability and incorporates an optional Blu-ray and TV Tuner.
The Maingear Pulse is said to be a superior option for those looking for a hardcore gaming device. The Pulse will be made available for a starting price of $799 (approx. Rs. 37, 615).
