PSP Go! on its way to lure Gamers?

Here’s a latest rumor from the land of Sony PlayStation Portable. The latest update is regarding a redesigned handheld console, which will be called as PSP Go! The device will apparently debut at the E3 Conference.

In words of 1UP, sources have confirmed the next PSP in the making would house an internal flash drive and excludes UMD. The leaked details talk about the integration of either 8 GB or 16 GB storage space along with a slot for external memory card.

What’s more? The rumored iteration is believed to possess a touch screen display and a camera. Another interesting aspect of the device is that it would have a sliding design, that reveals the same D-pad, analog nub and face button configuration.

Along with PSP Go!, there are two more rumored names of the unit such as PSP Slide and PSP Flip but we are happy to know that it wouldn’t be called PSP 2 and PSP-4000.

It is also whispered that the newest version of PSP will debut in the Japanese markets in September this year, followed by the American market in the period of late October – early November. Till then, let’s keep an eye on Sony to see an announcement to turn the rumor into reality.
