Details and Picture leaked of Sony PSP Go ahead of E3

Sony PSP Go Handheld

One more update on the ongoing rumors about the Sony PSP Go has hit the web terrain. A few hours before the E3 2009 commencement, official press shots along with specifications of the much-rumored handheld gaming console – which is termed as the Sony PSP Go – got leaked.

Engadget reveals that the upcoming PSP would employ a 3.8-inch screen, 16GB of internal memory, Memory Stick Micro card slot and a built-in Bluetooth to support handset tethering and BT headsets.

Said to be 43 percent lighter than the PSP-3000, it is believed to share the event space with the new Gran Turismo, Little Big Planet and new Metal Gear Solid. It might support PlayStation Network with access to TV and movie rentals/purchases minus UMD drive. Akin to the PSP-3000, it supposedly has PS3 integration.

The updated rumor also suggests that the company envisions each of its products as “10-year lifecycle products”, so the PSP is likely to live on.

Besides, the Sony PSP Go is predicted to launch by this fall. However, there is no clarity on the price of the handheld.
