Nintendo Working on Resolving Wii Storage Problem

Nintendo Wii Since the launch of the Wii video game console Nintendo has constantly been in the news for breaking one record after another. The Wii has undoubtedly gained a lot of popularity in all age-groups which is apparent by its record breaking sales. But now the company faces some major technical hurdle.

Nintendo is facing storage issues. Earlier it was not much of a problem because Wii could only play media on external discs. Whereas, now owners have started downloading contents from internet that requires storage capacity to store it up.

At present, Nintendo Wii can hold up to 512 MB of data in its internal memory space. Nintendo is aware of the road block it faces due to the lack of proper storage facility and it seems they are in the process of finally resolving the issue. Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime told MTV that “It’s an issue we are aware of, and we’re working to find a solution, and we will,”

In order to provide a good storage space, Nintendo might come up with an external USB-connected storage or might introduce a firmware update to let gamers play the Wii games directly from SD cards.

Well, Nintendo has been given lot many advice by its core community. Let’s see what the company comes up with to make their fans happy.
