I must say that the US has always been lucky to receive all the newly released gaming consoles and technological products first, followed by other countries. And when other countries look upon for overseas launch, all of a sudden the company announces that the product won’t make it through this country. Ohh! What a disappointment! UK is in a similar state at present.
The Limited Edition Metal Gear Solid 4 PlayStation 3 hardware bundle, which just got a confirmation for a US launch, will not be seen in the UK. Konami has announced that Play.com website will not be taking any pre-orders to sell the Gunmetal Grey PS3 bundle, disappointing UK gamers. The website has removed the Snake-based bundle.
The reason is not known. It may be either some internal rift between Konami and Play.com. Probably, Konami is not fond of UK gamers. Please do not take these absurd reasons seriously. We are just kidding!
However, in case you want to know who would be rolling out the MSG4 Gunmetal Grey PS3 bundle – it is the publisher (Konami) via its official website. North Americans will be able to stretch their hands to grab the Solid Snake game from 12th June. Just to brush up with the features, it comes packed with a Gun Metal Grey 40GB PS3, a matching DualShock 3 controller and a copy of MGS4.
