Nokia and THQ Wireless have joined hands to bring Team17’s Worms World Party to a range of Nokia devices through the N-Gage games service.
It provides animated graphics to imagine enemy territory and at the same time maintain all functionality in a compact size. Entertaining Worm animations are available in this game in each level, thanks to N-Gage’s improved 3D gaming capabilities. New for this outing is the addition of the zany Worms voice taunts which really bring the game to life.

Worms World Party comes with six level themes, which have been motivated by the best of the Worms series. It includes the hot lava fields of hell, the freezing ice caverns, an arid desert, pirate islands, alien space worlds and tribal rock environments. It also incorporates classic weapons such as the Super Sheep and the enchanted Holy Hand-Grenade.
“Worms is an excellent fit with the new N-Gage service. N-Gage is all about fun games that are easy to pick up and hard to put down – which is the Worms experience in a nutshell,†mentioned Gregg Sauter, Director of 3rd party publishing, Nokia.
Up to four players are allowed to fight against each another, worldwide through online death-match gaming, which also includes matchmaking function to easily find people to play, a friends list and a high-score leaderboard.
With the N-Gage Arena Points, the Worms World Party has the ability to offer rewards to skilful players for battling enemies and retaining all their Worm crew or blasting multiple adversary Worms in a single move.
Players can get their hands on the Worms World Party in the first half of 2008.
