Player X, a mobile media company, and Dynamo Games have co-published Crystal Maze, the mobile game that is based on the very popular 1990s TV gameshow, The Crystal Maze.
The single-player game comes included with the iconic presenter of the TV show Richard O’Brien. He has endorsed the mobile game version of the show.
“The Crystal Maze mobile game has all the best elements of the show and it’s great to see the final task is as frustratingly challenging in The Dome as it was for TV contestants,” explained Richard O’Brien.
In the game, there are around 20 mini-game features and humour of the TV original. Additionally, players have to accumulate crystals in the various sub-games. Later you have to avoid being trapped within the Crystal Dome. It also bundles four original zones that includes Aztec, Industrial, Medieval and Future.
“The Crystal Maze was a TV phenomenon in the UK and we’re confident it will make a similar impact in the mobile games space. This licence is a perfect fit with our raft of TV gameshow mobile games,” said Tony Pearce, Player X CEO.
Player X, who has exclusive rights in the UK and Ireland, will release the Crystal Maze mobile game in UK by this month.
