THQ Wireless and Team17 Software are working together to publish a new game, called Worms 2008 A Space Oddity for mobile handsets that would be available worldwide. The game maintains the well-known award-winning gameplay and exclusive sense of humor, which symbolizes the brand for over a decade.

In this game, a whole raft of new gameplay will be in demand and will feature four all-new mini-games, a better single player campaign mode, an all-new landscape view mode, classic portrait mode and new harebrained weapons. It revolves around the story of intergalactic Worm voyagers who are constantly trying to explore their solar system.

Based on the improved single-player campaign missions, Worms 2008 A Space Oddity includes changeable aims to keep gamers intact to the game and keep combating to protect installations. They are expected to repair space crafts, collect rare minerals and battle till death against alien races.

Players will get to access the space setting along with a plethora of latest weapons such as the Impact Frag, Atom Packs and Cluster Frags. They will be impressed by all new graphics and new animations as well as new looks for the rival alien races. Thanks to the advanced landscape generation systems, more realistic levels of gameplay are achieved.

In addition, you will also notice more and more graphical effects that include smoke trails that assist to bring shots to life, multi-layered parallax particles to improve the depth of field effect, reacting to the direction and strength of the wind.
