Nyko Kama Wireless Nunchuck Controller Now Available

Nyko logo Nyko Technologies, a game console peripherals manufacturer, has released its first stand-alone Wireless Wii Nunchuck, termed Kama.

Compatible with the very popular Nintendo Wii console, Kama does not use the wires that attach the Wii Remote with the Nunchuck. Gamers can easily win Wii games, which utilize the Nunchuck, with the help of the Kama.

Available in a familiar ergonomic design, it works as an accelerometer for motion-sensing games. There is a small dongle that fits into the bottom of the Wii Remote to deliver wireless connectivity of up to 3 meters.

“The Wii continues to steam ahead in popularity, making it a big focus for us as we try to improve the gaming experience with innovative wireless solutions. The Kama Wireless Nunchuck is one of our biggest products this year, and we’re happy to offer consumers the first available completely wireless Wii remote controller attachment on the market,” stated Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing at Nyko Technologies.

Currently available in the market for $34.99 (approx. Rs. 1360), Nyko’s Kama Wireless Nunchuck has won the Best of Show in the gaming category by CNET 2008.
