40GB Sony PlayStation 3 Launched in India
On November 24th, Mumbai’s Taj Land’s End Hotel was full of gamers and kids. The occasion was PlayStation Experience. Sony gave gamers the experience to play and enjoy exclusive game titles for two days.
Visitors explored thrills and chills of five gaming zones getting a first hand experience of various games. There were various dedicated zones such as sports, action, strategy and shooting. The most interesting part was the design of each of these zones, which were designed in very innovative manner. Games like Drake’s Fortune, Ratchet & Clank as well as Medal of Honor: Airborne were made available to play.
The newly launched Sing Star Bollywood grabbed attention of all the visitors.
At the event Sony Computer Entertainment India (SCEI) introduced 40GB PlayStation 3 and the Slim & Lite PlayStation Portable (PSP) with Video Out facility, in India.
Moreover an assortment of games like PSP Spiderman specialty pack that includes Spiderman game and movie and PSP Simpsons specialty pack were also introduced.
The 40GB PS3 would be available in the Indian market at the price of Rs. 24,990. While the PSP Spiderman specialty pack with game and movie will cost Rs. 10,490 and PSP Simpsons specialty pack will be available at the price of Rs. 9990.
