EA Medal of Honor Airborne released for Mobile Phones Worldwide
Electronic Arts has launched its Medal of Honor Airborne, a new World War II mobile game. This game emphasizes airborne invasion in the European Theater.

Medal of Honor Airborne features action-packed World War II battles, as contenders engage in missions to defeat the Nazis. There are up to eight levels where players enter the war zone as Boyd Travers, who is a rank-and-file solider in the 82nd Airborne division. You need to destroy the key objects and eliminate enemies in the well-known World War II battles including D-Day and Market Garden.
The mission begins by parachuting into open plains or heavily populated cities. Players will constantly face the most formidable opponents ranging from strafing fire to secret enemy attacks. They should utilize the display guide to navigate the terrain and complete their objective.
“Medal of Honor Airborne on your mobile presents explosive action on the go and stays true to the core experience of the franchise,” says Travis Boatman, vice president worldwide studios, EA Mobile. “Each level of the game is unique and provides new challenges for players to overcome.”
Equipped with flare tool, Boyd can call in paratroop reinforcements when the players are stuck in a tight spot. In addition, players can also operate grenades to ambush the opponent nearby.
The company said that the players need to be cautious of massive explosions that can injure the character or his allies. These explosions can be through Boyd or his enemies.
Cover features enable the gamers to protect themselves from enemy fire or the effects of the blast.
Medal of Honor Airborne is currently available from many major wireless carriers globally and can be downloaded to handsets instantly.
EA Los Angeles has developed the game and it is also available in stores for the Xbox 360 and PC. Moreover, it will also be available for PlayStation 3 in November.
