TRENDnet Wireless N Gigabit Gaming Router, TEW-633GR Launched

TRENDnet Wireless N Gigabit Gaming Router Yesterday, TRENDnet announced a new Wireless N Gigabit Gaming Router, called TEW-633GR.

The router includes three antennas that carry wireless signal and support to 300Mbps over an indoor distance of 500 feet. The range can be extended up to 1,300 feet outdoors. Also the network can be secured with the help of the firewall.

Pre-defined game hosting configurations and port triggering for 24 special applications are some of the other features of the TEW-633GR router.

Other features of the TRENDnet Wireless N Gigabit Gaming Router – TEW-633GR are:

  • Wireless security protocols up to WPA2-PSK
  • Unique wireless on/off button
  • Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
  • Firewall features Network Address Translation (NAT), and Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) protects against DoS attacks
  • Supports AP mode and Bridge mode
  • Supports Cable/DSL modems with Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP & BigPond connection types
  • “We used the same team that produced our highly awarded Wireless N Broadband Router, the TEW-631BRP, to create our new Wireless N Gigabit Router,” stated Sonny Su, Technology Director for TRENDnet. “Performance testing has yielded promising results and we expect to outperform competing brands in independent third party tests.”

    The TEW-633GR is compatible with Mac, Windows and Linux and will be available in the US market soon.
