HP Blackbird Gaming PCs Apart from the new iPAQs, Hewlett Packard (HP) also has announced the new range of high end desktops, specially made for the purpose of gaming.

The new gaming PCs are named Blackbird and they are developed by the company using the expertise gained from the acquisition of VoodooPC.

Philip McKinney, general manager of gaming unit of HP commented on the newly arrived computers, “We see the gaming market gaining significantly. We think there is significant opportunity in the market. There are a lot of Ferrari fans, but not many people can afford a Ferrari.”

The Blackbird has a stylish look and it is designed in a way that its parts can be removed or added without tools. For example Hard drives snap into a pull-out tray, saving your time on cables and screws.

HP’s Blackbird range of machines features 1.1-kilowatt power supply and a liquid cooling system. Besides, they are available with both Intel as well as AMD processors and depending upon the configuration, the price of the desktops range between $2,500 (approx Rs. 1,01,965) and $7,100 (approx Rs. 2,89,580).

Seriously, whoever pays the enormous 2500$ they asks for this is plain stupid. My brother build a PC about a month back with a quadcore and further almost same specs for around a bare 1500$ which if you now assamble it only brings approximately 1200$ in price in total.

This is no deal this is just a screw-over (as are most assambled PCs by suppliers such as HP)
