Now-a-days global warming and other environmental issues are hot topics of discussion and concern aswell. Not only people living on the planet but also the companies existing here are keen on making this world a better place to live in. Apparently that is the reason why tech companies are launching eco-friendly products.

We have compiled a few environmently friendly gadgets so that even we as customers can conserve energy and help the world go green.

Lenovo A61e:

Lenovo has launched an ultra-small Thinkcentre A61e eco friendly desktop. This desktop is not only small but also offers quiet operations and energy efficiency. The A61e desktop runs on the 45-watt AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core and AMD Sempron single core processors, which end up saving nearly 50-percent of the energy cost annually. While the single low-speed fan keeps the machine running cool offering quiet operations and a high amount of reliability.

Eco-button:

Eco button, a USB device helps computers to consume lesser energy and puts the computer in deep sleep mode. All that users have to do is tap the eco button while going away from the computer. The device keeps users updated about the amount of power and money that the users have saved everytime it’s plugged in.

Isolé IDP-3050 Power Strip:

The Isolé IDP-3050 Power Strip shuts off the power supply when you are away from that electrical device. The Power Strip is equipped with 8 outlets and 6 of them are managed by a personal sensor. It intelligently searches using infrared technology and if one moves out of the room, the sensors detect the inactivity and it acts accordingly. The sensors can either detect for a period of 30 seconds to 30 minutes and the setting can be set by user preference.

Sony FZ Graphic Splash Eco Edition Laptops:

Sony’s FZ Graphic Splash Eco Edition is made of recyclable material, which leads to resource conservation. Further, Sony claims that each eco-friendly device contributes one percent of its sales to For the Planet foundation. Thus it ensures the reinvestment of the cost of the system back into the ecosystem. Further it features 15.4″ screen, a 200GB hard disk and blu-ray drive.

MSI’s range of Eco-friendly laptops:

MSI’s PR620 notebook, claims to be the world’s first Anion Notebook. The Anion technology is capable of releasing concentrated anion that helps to clean and upgrade the air quality. That means while using the laptop, users can enjoy fresh air. The PR620 notebook can release up to five hundred and fifty thousand ions/cc (50 cm from the air vent) amount of fresh air.

Living without gadgets for the environmental reasons might be impossible for us. However, by using such nature friendly devices, we can at least help saving nature.
